چکیده

The advancements in fodder maize cultivation practices over the past few years, has paved a change makeup of weed associations. This made it necessary to incorporate new, effective herbicides struggle against maize's primary weeds. Therefore, field experiment was conducted at Research Farm, AICRP on Forage Crops, Department Agronomy, JNKVV, Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh) during Kharif season 2019 devise an appropriate combination required for control complex diversity maize. laid out randomized block design (RBD) with ten treatments (eight herbicidal combinations along hand weeding twice 20 and 40 DAS weedy check) replicated thrice. Observations were recorded parameters yield Among monocots, experimental infested Echinochloa colona, Commelina communis Digitaria sanguinalis. Phyllanthus niruri Eclipta alba dominated among dicots. all treatment, topramezone 35 g/ha plus atrazine 250 found be significantly superior reducing total density (9.49/m2, 11.50/m2) dry weight (6.43 g/m2, 7.91 g/m2) 30 45 DAS, respectively lowest index (1.82%). Also, maximum green (472.68 q/ha) topramazone + compared other treatments. Overall, this study indicated that could alternative approach alone

Qualitative characteristics of sugar beet as affected by different broadleaf herbicides combinations

ABSTRACT-Several herbicides are registered for selective weed control in sugar beet; however, no single chemical herbicide can control all weeds in beet fields. Frequently, two or more herbicides may have to be combined sequentially or as tank mixed to achieve adequate broad-spectrum weed control. In order to evaluate the effects of some combinations of broadleaf herbicides on sugar beet yield ...

Shoot-root traits of broccoli (Brassica oleracea var. italica L.) as influenced by different irrigation schedules

Frequency of irrigation to the crops is the key factor for proper growth and economic yield. Therefore, in the current study growth of broccoli plants was investigated under different irrigation levels in pot culture condition. Five levels of irrigation schedules were applied including I0 [Non-irrigation control], I1 [Irrigation up to 15 days after transplanting (DAT)], I2 [Irrigation up to 30 ...
